- Chronicles of Mr. Harold Wallace
Brittain Family Farm
Dec 30th 2017
I am new to blogging.
My intention is to share some of Harold’s stories . I wish I had taken a recorder on all of our trips so I could have had them to pass down to my grandkids. On Nov 7th of this year Dad passed in his 95th year. We were truly blessed to have had him in our lives. He and I enjoyed many fishing trips over the years always accompanied by some stories of when he was a younger man . He was a veteran of WW II, Hunting guide, woodsmen , farmer carpenter, husband , father and Dad….
I will be sharing some of my “Farming/ Deep Sky Stargazing/ Bunkies/ RV road Tripping , some guided tours /oh ya and U pick Christmas trees… ” stories as well.
I am Heather and I’m 53 and my husband Glenn and I have recently taken over the family homestead . I have all kinds of “odd” plans for the homestead, Glenn for the most part is on board. I want to be a farmer when I grow up. The homestead consists of a farm house , big old barn, old pasture and fields and 150+acres of woodland with different species of trees. Located in south west Nova Scotia.
