Forest Glen Adventures is a dream of my husband Glenn and mine we recently took over my homestead. We will be working on the 150 acre property installing stargazing/ glamping platforms over the summer. With various walking / mountain biking trails as well as future Christmas trees on paths named after our Grandkids. You will most likely see wildlife on your ventures. I will also be able to help set up individual adventures. Fishing in Parr, Pete’s and Ogden Lakes which host some of the best Bass fishing in the province. Guided Hiking Trips can be arranged.

The view of the night sky from the Bunkie is amazing. Enjoy the Perseid Meteor showers with an un interrupted view of the sky. Southwestern Nova Scotia is noted as a dark sky location. While listening to a family of owls.
The property is ” currently under development “. Features like the Stargazing platform/ tenting platform will be developed over the summer of 2019 .
Resurrection of the 100 year old hunting camp / lodge will begin in 2019. The hunting camp is located approximately 3 klms off the main road in Forest Glen. Very likely to see animals including whitetail deer, rabbits. The camp will be available for rustic camping. It will also be the gathering spot for the second stargazing location. Hunting is a very large part of my early years. My father Harold, was a hunting guide at numerous hunting camps including Birchdale , Hannah Lake, and for many years guided 3 generations of hunters from the United States. They often referred to the hunting camp in Forest Glen as a little bit of heaven.
The farmhouse is currently on Airbnb, welcoming visitors from all over. We are really enjoying meeting the different guests
Being able to share some of these experiences with like minded adventurers is a goal of ours.
